finally I have traction problems in 3rd gear

well I put my new stand alone in last week and I have just now starting to get on it hard. Today it rained so it was pretty cool on the ride home tonight and as I was getting on to the interstate from the acces road in third gear so I decided to roll on it and by the time I hit 5000 rpm my rear end broke loose... It put a smile on my face. I am tempted to put my hoosers on it but I'm afraid of breaking the diff again.

Mine has been losing traction in 3rd (in the rain) ever since I installed the transistor trick. Of course, snow tires may have something to do with that.

what kind of tires, and what boost psi. I am runing some 205 17 kumho's and about 13 psi on the rew. even when I sprayed my 12a sidedraft setup with a 120 shot I could not break the tires loose when rolling on it allthough clutching it I could.

i was only hitting 6psi and just barely getting in the secondaries ofthe carb. falken 205 wide tires, decent amount of tread left. the boost comes on so fast tho, that's what makes me spin thanks in part to the noice tubular header and big *** exhaust WOOWOOOOO!

It is something that I have been working on to be able to use the second gen coil and ignitor with the 1st gen ignition system. The results have been very good. Much better spark and a definite increase in power. I am working on building some more boards if you are interested.
