Finally going turbo

hey all

i have a s3, or 1984 rx7. i have the N/A 12a thats pretty much gutless, but in extremely good condtion. www.pbase.com/tomsrotary engine runs good (gets plenty of wheelspin in wet) but i want more power.

I picked up a 1985 12at from the GT rx7. Came 99% just missing the computer to plug in, and i already got a D5 microtech for it. Yes they are old but i'm picking it up complete for $250 aus. Plus my rotor mechanic has had years of expirence with these computers and said he will have it runnign great.

in 1 weeks time, i'm ripping out the 12a with dad, and he's having it. The transporting the shell to the mechanic, along with the 12at + gearbox and it should be dropped in there.

i want to shake the mans hand that removed the 12at from the Gt rx7. The dump pipe from the turbo was unbolted and not hacked off like the japs usually do. Plus it even came with the front mounted oil cooler still plugged up. and has all wiring, and harness. Also it came with the gearbox, and even has the GT ****. lol

anyway, I'll keep you yankies up todate.

its black, and not shaped light a light bulb. shape is like a shotgun shell, and has a little coin type thing stuck at the top wif GT and sum jap writing around it. looks factory. wouldn't be after market, to boring.
