FI 12a turbo?

has anyone kept the Fuel injection and swaped a 12at into a 1st gen? how hard would it be to wire everything up with a GSL, (emmisions removed)

JDM Factory 12AT? I would guess if you had the ECM and wiring harness, it should plug in I would imagine.

I saw a 12at ECU on yahoojp the other day for $75.
You would be better off building your own ECU, I think. You would still need to fabricate a harness, and if you have to do that, you might as well go with megasquirt.

Yes and Yes if you have half a brain and know which end of a soldering iron gets hot.

Not for you if you are in to instant gratification. However as a 1st gen owner you are more likely a masochist, so you will fit in well with the MS crowd
