feels like I hit a brick wall.. carb?
ok.. big prob... here's the symptoms, and I'll be as thorough as possible
idle's rough
when you rev it, at about 2k, it bogs down (if you look in the carb, you see almost no fuel spray at that point) If you keep going, it all of a sudden kicks back in and revs up higher. (large fuel spurt at this point in the carb)
When you drive, it will try to die at 2k, when you rev it up and drive hard, it feels like you hit a brick wall at 5k. and no power after that.
Here's what I've done so far. I did the rats nest removal and replaced all the hoses, and I did the block-off plates... no leaks to my knowledge. I even pulled each hose off individually and plugged them.
I did the atf treatment... no change. changed plugs after that, of course... it has a new cap, rotor as well.
that's all I can think of right now....

*grab one clip with pliers, grab other clip with pliers, pull out old, put in new, reverse clips, done*
the longest part for a first-timer will be finding the right area... it's all in the approach...

Yeah, the funny thing is... I bought all this crap to fix it up when I first got it... including the fuel filter... the fuel filter is still sitting in the back of my car =) I'll get to it this evening... Thanks for all the input.
