Feedback on MegaSquirt EFI
I'm considering doing a 12a carb to fuel injection conversion. I was thinking I could use the lower half of my dellorto intake, do some mods and add a fuel injector in each port. I work in a machine shop, so I could fabricate my own fuel rail, and upper intake manifold, so I could install a throttle body, possibly a stock TB (65 mm) off of a 5.0 mustang. I may also use the stock fuel injectors from a 5.0 (complete intakes are quite cheap on Ebay.) Also, the motor is currently being street-ported (it's in pieces right now). I'm supposed to be getting brand new rotor housings Monday. Any thoughts or suggestions???

To use the stock fuel injectors from a 5.0, you'd need to use six or all eight of them. They're TINY - 19lb/hr, or very roughly 200cc/minute each.
Wait... street ported? Better use all eight....

Good point PJ, what about the fuel injectors in a TII, that's multi-port, isn't it? I really don't wanna buy brand new injectors, maybe in the future I will.
