why would you want to use an efi fuel pump on a carburated car?

 

If it is for a 12A----NO.

 

It's designed to be inside the tank, and its for FI, so unless you have FI and a in tank fuel pump setup on your FB then no it will not work

 

Fuel injection pumps run at like 40 PSI and your current one runs like 5 or 6 PSI, no regulator is going to withstand to having to slow the fuel down that much and without a regulator your carb would flood and overflow

 

To add to the other NOs, the FD and all FI pumps beginning with the 86 FC model are intank pumps. And for a trivia question/answer, the S3 external SE pump puts out more volume/pressure than the FC internal pumps do.
