It's been said the FC coil is a better unit. I'm not going to argue, but $40 seems a little steep.

Really? Arent the FC units more prone to blowing 1st gen ignitors?

If hooked up wrong, yes. Although I have no basis for comparing it to an FD coil, so I really couldn't tell you.

If you can still buy it, go ahead. I ain't stoping you. I also have next to no experience with them, so I won't be able to help you in any meaningful way if you do actually get it. All I ever did was to remove one from a stock REW engine, along with the rat's nest, manifolding etc.
