FD Brake Conversion

Has anyone done, or looked into doing this. I have to go take a look at my buddys FD and see if it's even remotely possible but a 4 wheel disc 5-lug FB would be a sweet mod to do before sevenstock.

Not sure if there's much difference between them and the FD brakes but a lot of people have put Series 4/5 brakes on 1st gens. There's many different ways to do it and they all involve machining/fabrication.

FD brakes and FC "five-lug" brakes are essentially the same thing - the calipers may mount differently but they're the same size. (GSL-SE front brakes and FC "4-lug" front brakes are also the same, although they mount differently)

Hmmm, Then it looks like i need to be looking for a Turbo II braking system and hubs. Because if a 4 lug FC can be adapted to a TII brake setup, then a FB should be able to do it to. Now another question is there a difference in Turbo II and Non-Turbo II 5 lug braking systems.

Thanks everyone, I know exactly were to get the parts.

I would check out corksport. They can hook up with brakes for your FD. he said he can hook up with staged brake upgrades for cheap. told me for about $1000 bucks can get 3rd gen braking system front and rear.
there website sucks so its best to call them.
