FC wheels on an FB

I have been toying with the idea of doing a "Big Brake" upgrade to an FB using FC hubs. I found a YouTube video on someone doing this (
) but they never show the car sitting on the ground with its new wheel package.

Does anyone have a picture of a car that has had this upgrade done to it? I want to make sure it wont have the wheels stick out of the fenders, or at least not that much.

Are you talking about doing the full FC subframe swap or just swapping the hubs with a few brackets to line things up? Either way, there are kits to run coil overs so the final ride height can be set to whatever you want. Even if you go with the standard coils, getting some with dead coils to cut to change the ride height is also an option once everything has settled. FC is 4x114 or 5x, the 4x only came on base models are are getting hard to find. Changing the front to FC bolt pattern would mean machining the rear axles to match. Only the gsl-se ones would work. The gsl 4x110’s don’t have enough meat for that to work.

Whether or not the wheels stick out has more to do with the wheel offset than the FC Brake kit. If you are using an FB front suspension, the front the brake kit doesn't really change where the hub face is relative to the back of the wheel. On the rear the variable is the axles you use. GS and GSL axles (these have the 110mm pattern) are 10mm narrower per side when compared to GSL/SE axles (these have the 114.3mm pattern).
