FB Turbo charge holley 600 cfm help!!

Hello, I just got my 6 port 13b turbo charge, it runs beutiful, but it try to stall when I come to a stop. Also getting some fuel leak below the primary bowl, can't find where the leak is from. Some one told me is from the throttle shaft. Thanks in advance.

I check the ap screws, they are nice and tight, the bolts on the bowl are nice and tight as well, I only get a leak when a lot boost comes in when driving, not at idle. I'm only running 7psi.

If this is an older carb, then the throttle shaft bushes may be leaking. Don't know if those can be redone on the Holleys or not.

Most boost prepped carbs have either seals installed in the throttle shafts of boost relief channels cut in the baseplate. You're gonna need a boost prepped carb. Also, are you running a boost reference rising rate fuel pressure regulator?

Do you have a check valve installed between the brake booster and vaccum port on the intake manifold?

The car is an 1984 gsl with an 1985 GSLSE suspension upgrade and 477 gears on the rear. I got the set up done about a week a go, I have a 600 cfm holley with side hung floats, a malpassi turbo fuel regulator, a turbo II turbine and waste gate, a 12" high by 26" wide by 3" thick innercooler, and a no name blow off valve that sounds great, for fuel pump I have an inline fuel injection msd pump running thru a 3/8 fuel line, and an msd 6al running thru a second generetion leading coil for direct fire. I have 65 jets on the primary and a #6 plate on the secondary soon to be replace by a secondary meetering plate, and I will be replacing the floats to nitrophyl floats wich are boost proof against crushing. Also running 93 octane fuel. Battery has been relocated behind the driver seat comparment.

The carburetor I used is brand new out of the box, Up to now the only mods I did to the carburetor were to tap a thread on the emulsion tubes an d plug them, then I drill a small hole onthe side of the tubes, and plug the power valve hole, pending new nitrophyl floats and secondary meetering block. Can you tell me what kind of mods. you did to the carburetor? Also I will be shaving the choke horn and pluging then choke shaft hole.

Yes, you should get one. Because boost can travel into your brake booster, causing the diaphragm to rupture.

Hello, here are the pictures, Like many other sad stories here in the forum, I fix the leak over the weekend and I broke the engine over the weekend, I did have my fun over the weekend, have no regrets. That's Ok don't feel bad, If I don't break it, I'll never get to build a faster engine.
