FB Threaded brake hoses
Thinking of replacing rubber brake hoses with the steel braided hoses. Anyone done this? any problems?
Here is a description of the threaded steel brake hoses found on ebay:
You are bidding on a set of Magnum Teflon Stainless Steel Braided brake lines. A large percentage of your brake pedal travel is due to expansion of the hydraulic hoses under pressure. Replacing the rubber flex hoses with our stainless steel reinforced Teflon hoses eliminates this expansion, giving you a firm positive feel of your cars braking system. This set of lines is fully covered with PVC thus give it extra protection, no other brand on the market give you this extra protection. All the hangers and holders required in this set of lines are made of anodize aluminum.

I did mine a few years ago and can't remember the brand, got them from the Rx-7 store though. Sence then (my car is a GS) I put the -SE suspension on and thus rear disc, I'm running SS up front and a new but stock rubber line to the rear, I don't ever remember to order a new set of lines when I'm getting parts. BTW a SS/ruber combo is a no-no, there is no excuse for me running like this.

Don't know whose selling the ebay ones but mazdatrix sells them in kits to fit all RX7s with whatever mixed brakes you might have (I have an 80 with 81+ Discs in the rear - even mixed thread pitches!!). Worth checking out and paying a few $$ more for to be sure your gettingt the right thing. They really stand behind their stuff-
