That is the sickest conversion on the planet. I'd do that before any turbo conversion if i had the money. You got it right web777. That right there, is the epitomy of Cool.

Wonder how the ole' 1st gen holds up to the Rx8 due to weight and gearing differences....

The look on a Rx8 driver's face after you just beat him with his own medicine.....now that would be priceless.

now we have no reason we shouldnt be doing this ourselves. Except for the fact that this motor crate-wise is way overpriced and not many people have wrecked 8s yet.

That engine swap would make the rx-8 **** in it's pants. I say we all go out one night with our buddies and "make" more wrecked rx-8's.

This car has been in a couple magazines. I was reading about it in a rx7 magazine the other day. Thought about buyin it to scan in some pics, but it's $20 and the pics are small... Maybe I'll drop by the bookstore again today..
They have pics of the underbody and it shows where they did a renesis front subframe conversion and the rear suspension setup as well. Though from the pics it is difficult to see how they did it. They're kinda small. The shop's website doesn't have any pics of it either, strangely...
www.makers-7.co.jp, I think.

Its easy to install the RX-8 cluster, just a bunch of wires and a cable. Anybody can do it in a few hours. I've got a cluster from the RX-9, its much nicer.
