My 85 rx7 gsl-se (13b) has an idling problem. It runs great when you start moving but it wants to die when I stop. I'm thinking an air pump or vacume line problem? Let me know if I'm wrong.

 

First off, welcome aboard. Not knowing if you're new to FBs and this SE is a slightly different animal, let us know some of the following;

1) what's the current idle speed?
2) what else have you or the prior owner done to it? (Stock intake, rats next, et al?)
3) how many miles are on it? Do you have any service history?
4) when was the last tune up? Fresh plugs, wires, cap & rotor?
5) does this all the time, just sometimes, rarely?
6) any other problems with the car when driving?
7) post some pics of the new ride!
