FB RX7 with BMW M30

Thoughts on this, my friend recently crashed his 89 325is, and his motor is perfectly fine, its mostly structural damage. I asked him and he told me that i could have it if i wanted it, cause he just bought an e28 535is. thoughts and feedback would be most helpful.

The answer is no it won't fit and before it gets into a flame thread. Please repost in the other than rotary section of the forum. This is for "Rotary" Specific questions, only, thanks.

Come on doc, don't be so hard on him.

I'll add my input but you should do as the doc said. The engine should fit. I haven't seen anyone put a BMW engine in a 7 yet, but I have seen one with a huge Chevy van I6 and those engines are long and tall. I'd imagine the BMW engine would be shorter in both directions. Another one I have seen is a 2JZGTE from a Supra, a high power I6 with considerable length.
