My bracket that my caliper mounts to is very rusted (front brakes). What is the offical name of this part and where can I find one.

Brake Caliper Bracket should be the correct term...

And what do you mean by very rusted? I just rebuilt my front suspension and painted them. That bracket is solid iron, it should be easy to wire wheel and paint it with some caliper paint or metal paint...

If you look at pictures I took, that caliper and bracket were so rusted that I was amazed there was a bracket left when I sand blasted it. That cast iron stuff doesn't rot away very easily, you'd be surprised how much of that rust is just surface rust with minor pitting.
