Are fb brake boosters interchangeable 12a/13b?

The unit in my gsl-se is clearly bad and I'd like to swap in the booster from my 12a which is down for mods. The se is an 84, the gsl an 85. I couldn't locate the answer through searching. Thanks in advance!

The gs booster is smaller than the se. It should work but the pedal effort may be different. I went from a gs booster to the se and had to move the clutch master cyl. over but since your doing just the opposite it should be fine.

He stated he has a "GSL", not a "GS", but it does not matter as all 84-85 models are interchangeable.
