fastest streetable 12at
does anyone know if there is a record for the fastest streetable 1st gen 12a turbo w/o nos to run the 1/4? I know that there was a first generation running low 10's w/o nos around the Florida area, but I am not sure if there is such record or if neone knows of neone running a 12at and their 1/4 time. Im looking for street cars, not full tubed or fully race built cars.

Yeah, I know about Kilo's car. He has a PP running on methanol with a microtech (I believe) ems. That and hes a hell of a driver, thats how he keeps running constant times.

Hey Guys,
The fastest 12a Turbo in the world is DELIRIUM Racing - from Puerto Rico. Driver: Boris Rojas
Datsun 1200 1/4 mile: 8.27 @ 160mph
1st Correction... Florida.
2nd Correction... Non-streetable

Here is a link to a table of the fastest 12a's in austalia at the moment. The list is still being compiled so some of the times are a little vague.

love the braaaap
Well, going from a HP point of view, not basing on drag cars, I would have to say mid 10's are the fastest you would want to go in a streetable car. First off, you would need to run at the very least some 305 or wider drag radials (keep power under control), full roll cage (probably won't be able to keep it under control, safety item), and various other safety items in case the worst case senario happens. This car wouldn't be drivable in the rain. Its hard enough to keep a stock 7 stable under heavy accelleration in the rain. It would have a VERY touchy gas pedal, and probably only get 3 MPG. But the point is that it would be streetable.

There is a big difference between streetable and daily driven. I only drive my car on the weekends as I have another car to drive to work, but the car is definently streetable. Yes the economy sucks and driving in the rain isn't that pleasant but it can be done.
