Fan and Pully question?

I know someone has asked this but if I pull the huge clutch fan off my can and just put a electric fan in will I need to add a counter weight to the fan or do I need to pull the stock alluminum spacer off and put some smaller bolt in the pully to the water pump?

Thanks
Matt

Remove the spacer and use shorter bolts, balance will be fine.

Ok then. (insert head scratching smilie)

The correct bolts to use are 6mm diameter x 1.0 thread pitch x 10mm or so length. Oil pan bolts or similar work excellently on the fan pulley. The only problem is coming up with four of them if you don't have much to work with. Aftermarket bolts will work fine, but they won't match the rest of the engine.
