Extremely Stupid Fuse Block Question

Okay, this is a dumb question but I am genuinely confused and need help here: Can someone show me a picture of how the fuses are actually installed in the FB fuse box? My car came without several fuses and I'm not sure if the "RH" and "LH" on the box cover are referring to the orientation when I'm sitting in the driver seat, or when I'm looking at the fuse box from below.

I *think* I have everything plugged in right based on the picture on the cover, but my reverse lights, dome lights and my water temp gauge do not work, in addition to my fuel gauge only reading values between 1/4 full to 3/4 full. I just want to make sure its not the fuses before I start working on other things.

Are you referring to the interior fuses. Yes it gets confusing. its best to look at the lay out of fuse block and compare it with the diagram on the fuse block cover.

Attached is a picture of my fuse block, the top of the picture is where the steering wheel would be.

The car is a 1984 GS model.

EDIT: I believe the car had an AC system at some point in its life, but it was removed by a previous owner

Another good reference is the factory service manual, page 15-13 .
