Exhaust tone/volume

I have been thinking of recording my exhaust tone/volume to MP3 to share with the world, for those of you curious as to "what does this sound like" w/ the Racing beat setup and aftermarket muffler.

Would anyone be interested? Or should i not bother?

Geoff

I say go for it. That wouldn't be a bad idea for racing beat to have on their site.

Just as long as it's a good quality MP3. I've heard a couple o' pretty bad ones (bad as in bad, not good). I may have a way to digitally record mine (like, directly onto a computer). I just hope I can find a mic good enough for this particular use in my pile of stuff. Cheapo PC mics suck.

I bought a quality tape recorder from Radio Shack to record, and then patch it in to the computer to digitize. The reproduction is quite accurate, better even than my video camera playing through a TV!

I think I have a stereo tape recorder somewhere. If not, I have a stereo mic (double header) which I think still works. I just hope I can cobble something together that will sound good in the end.

Yeah, I'd like to hear it. I wouldn't mind getting mine done too.
