Exhaust Tone & Longevity

I've heard (and only heard) that Racing Beat may be the best choice for exhaust systems as they tend to last fairly long and sound very good.

I want the user's opinion. I have an 85 gs and am considering the dual pipe system with the road race header. I want to know if these units last, and what they sound like. Anyone can go down to their local exhaust shop and get a fart can. I would rather have true rotary exhaust sound and tone, something deeper and more unique than everyone's honda screaming down the road.

as long as you can afford it, you won't be disappointed. the parts are quite robust.

RB's exhaust systems are extremely solidly built. It's often said that they'll outlast the car, and I'm inclined to believe it. Of course, that also means they're heavy.

As for how it sounds, decide for yourself. Not the best camera, I'll admit, but the sound is pretty close.

the RB long/street port system is really good. it lasts forever. the tone is deep.

my last system was about 20 years old, and it was kind of dark sounding, i really liked it
