AB Exhaust temp sensor

Hey all,

So I've started the plunge of doing a clean/breakdown/rebuild of my GSL, Today I got to removing the stock exhaust, and had a question about the temp sensor that plugs in right behind the catalytic converter.. I unplugged it when I removed the exhaust system and since I'm going to straight pipe it (cats be damned!) I'm curious about the sensor...it seems my gut is saying it'd be wise to hook it back up when I eventually get a new system- if I straight pipe it where would it plug in? or should I just remove it entirely?

I'm still learning as I go, but I already feel a whole lot more comfortable than 2 weeks ago! if anyone is interested I'll post pics/progress as I go.

Thanks for your input!
