www.racingbeat.com is the best site ive found for good mods. Their exhuast system is the best, just got mine i love it. As for fitting on your car i do not kno, but i kno that gray paint on there is gonna bake off. The price is lookin nice, worth it if its the right one.

That paint will burn right off, but thats not an issue. It should fit your 79, but youll need a different muffler, as the rear pipe is made for an 81-82, 83? style muffler with the twin pipes. I dont think the 79 had a twin pipe muffler.

Oh and for a carb, you can also talk to Sterling or myself as we mod the stock carbs for performance. If you want to go Holley, mazdatrix is a good place to go.

Well, thanks so far for the info. i will type all the info i have tomaro morning and see how its coming along. i dont know if its a deal yet cause i dont know what peice could be striped, and it almost sounds as if im only buying a header for the price cause of the double pipe. well please help. i guess i really dont know how this system all goes together but by my understanding i have the head then the catalac converter then that double pipe i cant use. i am woundering why i cant use it but if i cant then i would have to buy another middle peice and a muffler. is it still worth it. thanks so much guys im learning so much

It goes header, presilencer(long straight big one), then that y pipe to your pipe that jumps your rear axle(you probably already have this).

You can use the header, then the presilencer. If you have the dual pipe muffler, then you can use the dual pipe, if not, then use the rest of the stock system, or replace the muffler, or sell the dual pipe to me.
