Exhaust smell
Trying to be compliant, so put a new cat on my car. Now it smells terrible like rotten eggs. It's a direct replacement with air injection port. Cars not running hot. Could it be a bad pre cat or running too rich? All stock 85 12a, 58k miles. Plugs are new and look tan. Thanks

You dont need emissions on a pre 1996 car here. Get a nice RB SP full exhaust setup and be
done with it. You will be happier!
BTW, where you at in Charlotte? Theres a C&C (the big one) happening this Sat. Look for me
there.

How was the exhaust packed? New rotors are packed in some kind of shipping glue (or whatever) that smells like the devil for the first few miles you drive on them, but when it all burns off it smells fine. How many miles have you put on this new cat?
+1 for just ditching it and getting the RB stuff.
