exhaust header that hooks up to stock exhaust system?
i've been told that the racing beat header doesn't bolt right up the the stock exhaust system. is this correct?
i have an '83 with a racing beat midpipe cat replacement. so it's basically stock.
now, what options do i have for a better flowing header w/o having to buy racing beat's entire system at once.
i'd love to get racing beat's system, but i'd have to piece it together one part at a time,.

Brad,
The Racing Beat header will bolt to the stock connecting pipe with the Racing Beat pre-silencer. So you could in theroy get away with buying only 2/3 of the system, but that is still $300. Then buy the muffler later. I've heard that the mindtrain will bolt to the stock cat, and so will the Pacesetter, but that would gain you less power than that strait pipe you have.

you see, ryan...the midpipe was a straight bolt-in replacement for the stock cats. so anything that'll bolt up to the stock exhaust will bolt up to my setup
