Stu, love the new avatar!

at any rate, only use oem gaskets. the gaskets will blow if the flanges are warped. you may want to check and make sure the flanges are not warped.

before you install the new gaskets, check for warped flanges.

You must use the force young Padawon. If you are having issues with exhaust gaskets blowing out, it's usually because you're not tightening it enough. Go to the gym for a couple weeks then reattempt actually getting the correct amount of torque on those nuts. LOL! seriously...

Make sure everything is properly lined up, and both surfaces are clean. I used a high temp sealant as well when I did my exhaust, might not help but it didn't hurt either.

The thing is, once you get the slightest leak, the high temp of the exhaust will burn right through just about anything. You have to make sure it does not leak at all.

You might also want to check your timing, to make sure it is not too retarded, which will heat things up very quickly.

Good luck, and like everyone else said use high quality gaskets.

Another option is that your not retightening them after initial install. Remember expansion and contraction with heat and cold. I was able to reseat all my blots and nuts on the entire exhaust system 3 times after the initial install( i went to the gym for 1 month before the RB exhaust install as per hyperformance2k suggestions) and havent had a leak once. BUT if i hadnt rechecked the joints then i too pbly would have formed a leak and blew a gasket too.
