Exaust pipe removal tips?

i'm trying to get the cats off my 83 so i can hollow them out, but i'm having problems getting the bolts off. Anyone have any tips, or should i just try to cut them off?
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

try soaking them with a rust eater like wd40 or PB blaster. my vote goes for PB... that stuff works great.

Im with ya on the PB Blaster. That stuff is cool. Do the styrofoam cut trick on the front of the can...Its cool .
