OR exaust, carb, and starting issues

so I'm driving an 83 gsl and my exaust fell off so what im wondering is if running damn near no exaust going to hurt anything cause i dont have time to fix it at the moment but its my only car. also when I get my rpms up my car acts like its flooding out i donno if its my carb and i need to re-tune it or if I got a more seriouse problem.

another problem is my car wont start so im having to push start it I though it was a bad connection at first but I check and double checked everything and cant find a break or bad connection anywhere so someone told me that my oil leak is leaking into my starter and causing it to bind up and not turn over i just need some input on this before i start spending money on the wrong stuff. thanks

Punctuation!

Had to read that like 3 times. But the less exhaust you have the leaner it will be if keeping the
same tune.

1. Describe in detail what is happening with the carb when you say "flooding out". Flooding and starving have somewhat similar symptoms.

2. When is the last time that you replaced your fuel filter?

3. No exhaust will be fine for everything but your ear drums.

4. For the starter, turn on the headlights and try to start it. Do they get dim when trying to crank it over? Oil should not have any effect on the starter.

5. Oil leak: probably coming from your beehive oil cooler. Can be fixed cheaply by replacing the o-rings. You will also need to replace the hoses underneath it due to oil contamination, which causes them to get weak and eventually blow out. Then, you either end up stranded or you overheat and kill your motor. Get this taken care of right away...

Good luck, and post back with answers to my questions and we can go from there.
