Do not race with a plugged cat! If you can take the cats off without tearing them, so you can re-install them, this is what I would do. Take the cats off and get an Irwin 3/8" speedbore wood bit, the long one,12"+. Drill 8-10 holes in circular pattern, with some of them in the middle, blow out the dust and chips with compressed air, hold your breath and don't breath this crap, and put them back on the car. You now have a budget higher flowing cat. If you want to get carried away you are halfway there to gutting the cats entirely.
