I have a 85 Gs 5 speed 12A 4 pack with a pluged up cat and no air pump and the rest of the exaust system is kind of shot. i am planing to install a header kist from header to muffler from racingheat but thats next year. for now i wanted to know if i could get some 2" pipe bend it like the stock pipe from the exaust manifold to the rear mufler( i would install a magnaflow from canadian tiere of some thing of the sort to keep the nois down) do yous think it would be ok to do this or should i get keep my pluged up **** and race with it like it is( racing I mean braket raving)

Do not race with a plugged cat! If you can take the cats off without tearing them, so you can re-install them, this is what I would do. Take the cats off and get an Irwin 3/8" speedbore wood bit, the long one,12"+. Drill 8-10 holes in circular pattern, with some of them in the middle, blow out the dust and chips with compressed air, hold your breath and don't breath this crap, and put them back on the car. You now have a budget higher flowing cat. If you want to get carried away you are halfway there to gutting the cats entirely.
