Smile Europe '73 RX-7 ? What was it?

When I was in Europe in "73 I saw several cars that looked like a Gen 1 RX7 in hindsight. Nearly exact body style. Anyone have clues for me to finally figure out what it was I actually saw? Thanks (Did I date myself there? Oh, I was very young)

There are/were lots of cars that look like 7s. Especially if your remembering them...Or your making them look like RX-7s in your head . The Nissan/Datsun Z cars for instance, they resemble RX-7s to a degree when viewed at the right angle. The old Z cars do more than the newer ZX's though...

Hey the picture of the Opel's front vents look sweet. Anyone attempt to make similiar ones? I know there are a few people who have opted to go with the 4 ice cube looking vents on the cover, but anyone try with the two large vents?

*gears start turning in head*
