I just got my 85 GSL-SE a few weeks ago and the orange gauges are already starting to bug me. I've been looking at those and the "reverse" gagues.
The only thing that worries me is the install, I don't have the slightest clue how to do something like that, and it says in the add..
SORRY, NO INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION IS RECOMMENDED
Did you do it yourself? How was it? and...what kind of place would install these for you, and how much would it cost ya think?
Thanks.

Not too hard to do. If you have the Haynes manual, it tells you how to take the gauge cluster out. Off with the steering wheel, take out all the screws around the cluster and the streering bezel. The hardest part is fitting your hand under the dash to take the speedo cable out, push it in and turn to the right and pop. The whole thing slide out. Take out the screws from the back(remember where you took them from). Then just take out the main bulbs, not the small ones. Take each gauge out and replace the fronts. Run the wires through the back then wire tie them together. You need to find a power wire from the loom that is hot when you turn the lights on. A good multi meter helps, just make sure you have a good ground to find that wire. I did'nt and it took for ever until I realized I did not have a good ground. Then just reinstall it all. Putting in the speedo is not as hard as getting it out. Thats it. It took around 2 1/2 hoours to do.
