For "new" old wheels, they seem to have some varied color in the centers. What's up with that? Is that just water or what?

no they will stick out. I had a set and still got a couple bent ones and one straight one. too narrow for my car now though.

Looks like dust to me. I had a set of these but in black on my silver car.......those rims look awsome on the 1st gen. I had a buddy that had a red first gen with the gold ones.
