well if you create a load big enough as to where your ignition system does not have enough amperage/voltage is not gonna create enough spark to keep the combustion cycle going on thus stopping the engine. but the problem is not fixed until you find the short that's causing your ignition to stay on.

if i was to take a guess i'd say he's already pushed the button, and it shut the engine off, and he wants to learn why it did work so he has an educated guess, which is something i would do.
or it didn't work and he doesn't want to waste anyone's time until he figures it out, but maybe we don't all think alike.
or he hasn't done it because he's scared it may **** something else up.....either way i want to know your story dammit, now share 84stock

lol nice responses every one. but the verdict is................................................ ............................................ it DIDN'T do anything but roll my window down, which still puts me back to square one. lol sorry to keep you waiting, any insight on this?

Bringing this back from the dead just for an update of what the issue was, somehow by pure chance I started the car after having the gauge cluster out and I went to turn the key off n then my kill switch off and the car quit after the key turned off, so by pure disbelief, I started it again and turned it off no problem with the key so something with the gauge cluster wiring , random right?
