engine wiring problems, 84 GSL

engine wiring problems, 84 GSL
What plug goes into tha alternator? Theres 2 or 3 plugs that fit. What wire colors go into the alternator. And are there any other electrical connections I need, all of the emissions crap has been removed.

Theres 2 wires, and from memory I think they are Black/white (12V ign) and white/black (-) switch when charging to turn off the warning lights on the dash cluster...
On a 84 GSL there will be 3 plugs in that vicinity that may fit in there, but I thought they all were keyed not to.. But anyways those plugs are 2 white plugs (1 is alt plug, 1 is the thermo sensor going into the water inlet hosuing) and a green plug it goes to the needless idle switch when emission stuff is removed...
