Engine weight?

So I searched and didn't find anything; and I'm feeling too lazy to walk upstairs and turn on my laptop to hunt through the FSM, but does anyone happen to know how much a 12a weighs dry? No intake/carb, exhaust, or other extraneous accessories, just the core engine assembled.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Can't be that much; I bought a used 12a keg recently, and was able to lift it into/out of the passenger floorspace when I got it home. Call it a 1-ft vertical lift and extend.

Either that, or I'm a lot stronger than I think I am.

Well, lighter is definitely better. I'm planning a rebuild shortly(should be pulling the motor next weekend, gonna be gone this weekend :/) and don't actually have an engine stand, but I do have a workbench and some people willing to help lift, should the need arise. I figure once it's on the bench I'll be able to take it apart and make life a lot easier

My 5'1" wife and I got the keg onto my workbench from the floor without strain... two guys of moderate strength can lift one easily. Just be careful of pinchpoints and sharp edges.

I put a 13b on a scale without oil pan or flywheel and it weight in at 190lbs so figure a 12a 20lbs less

Oil pan's only a couple of pounds, but the flywheel's significant; stock flywheel weighs something like 25+ lbs.

shortblock 12a w/ factory S3 flywheel is about 220. I'm 6'4 and 200 pounds and I can move one relatively easily by myself.
