Has anyone ever taken the rotary out of a Series 3 RX7 and put something else in. (V6, for example)? I realise I could be shot at dawn for suggesting such sacrilege but I am married to the car more than the engine and feel like a change. Just wondering what success anyone has had.

 

ford 302 out of a mustank... been done many many times, search, etc. There's a whole forum devoted to such things.

 

This is real bad...however I have a friend who put an SR-20DET in one! 4cyl turbo charged Nissan engine!
