Engine swap

How hard is it to swap an EFI 13B into an carborated 12a. I know how hard it is to swap a motor in general but i was more wondering about how hard it is to put and ECU in the a car that doesnt have one. Also i was wondering if a 12a tranny will bolt up to a 13b tranny?

That's funny!

7rulesFL,
The subject of transmission interchangeability has been answered 100 times over.
Since you are not a new member by far I recommend you use the search function on this one.

As far as the ECU goes. I don't think there has ever been a good thread source that someone has detailed their swap info.

The biggest thing would be to find how to wire the power source for the ECU. The laying in of the harness to the engine bay and what not would be pretty straight forward.
You could always use a Megasquirt system to simplify things.
