Take the hose that connects to the intake off and spray WD-40 in it while your cranking it. That worked for me the one time i did what you did.

ummm why not turn the engine by hand and see what happens? Pour some MMO in the spark plug holes and see if that helps at all...

I can't imagine flooding an engine to the point where it locks. Not saying it can't be done, I've just never seen it. Maybe you've got a broken apex seal hanging up in a port. Try turning the motor backwards and see what happens.

Well, MAYBE.
If it's actually locked due to being full of liquid (fuel), why not just take out the spark plugs and let it air out?

I agree. I'll say one thing though...if I ever did something like that I don't think I'd be telling everyone on this forum about it. But it WAS a good laugh!!!

i always use a small propane torch. gently put them in a vice and heat the electrodes with the torch. that ussually burns off all of the deposits and leaves them looking new.

you want to hear another funnt saturday morning story? i just realized today that i locked the keys in 85 -se. i was doing some work on the engine today and needed inside the car, went in the house to grab the keys, walked back to the car and realised that last weekend when i locked the doors that i had grabed the wrong keys from inside, looked on the seat and there they were. i had to swap the steering column so the keys dont match now. and now i have to figure out how to get insde the damn car

Sounds like a job for a Slim Jim, tho they're not sold around here, you gotta make your own, but I suspect an aluminum beer can and a pair of snips will do the job. I make dupe keys for all my cars, and I always plant one extra on the car in a magnet box. yeah, I know that could make it easier for a thief, but i figure most locks are just to keep little kids and minor vandals out. A determined thief can screwdriver the doorlock and slidehammer the ignition and be gone in 30 seconds.

LOL, I spent one day fixing the sunroof ****, only to lock the key inside the car that night. I only got one key with the car, and I kept it on a seperate key ring.
Spent the next day re-fixing the sunroof ****, cause I broke in thru the sunroof, and went to get another key made. I keep one key on each ring, that way I cannot lock myself out again. Well, it would take extra effort.............
