Engine related question.

I have a 1985 Mazda GSL-SE RX7. It's a 13b rotary and i just bought this car not to long ago for a computer and a $100 bucks . Anyways, along with the deal came the usual problems , there was an oil leak coming from the oil pan (fixed), the altenator was shot (fixed) and last but not least the freagin Engine smokes So, i went ahead and did an compression test to find out if one of the rotors were bad and burning oil. The results were 110% ok on the rears and 100% in the front. So I've come to the conclusion that the front rotors are going bad and that's where the oil is being burned thus the smoke. So the question is should i rebuild the rotory engine myself or get someone to do it. Please help me! I have no idea where there are engineers that rebuild these engines. I live outside of Belleville, Illinois and need help deciding. So if you have any ideas please feel free to post. Also this is my first time rebuilding an engine so it's not some small feet. Thanks for reading this , Drifting fool...

what color smoke? Black = fuel, Blue = oil, White = coolant Pull out the plugs and see if they are soaked with some type of fluid. Keep a note as to what side you pulled out the plugs from.

%100 on the front rotor should be fine. How exactly did you check the compression? There is a different method than piston engines.

We took out the spark plugs and did the compression test through them. I just got the rx7 back today and there seems to be no smoke at all anymore. I did find however find a leak in the oil cooler piping system that i plan on fixing. Besides that i was driving it and lost break pressure after about 15 mins into driving it. A guy at advanced auto parts told me it's more than likely my master cylinder is bad. Any clues?
