CT Engine install

I HAVE A QUESTION THAT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY, OR NOT. I HAVE JUST INSTALLED A 83 12A INTO A 82 BODY. THE QUESTION IS, DOES THE ENGINE HAVE TO BE ALIGNED IN THE CENTER OF THE ENGINE BAY. I THREW A CENTER LINE FROM BACK TO FRONT, A CENTER LINE DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE ENGINE, BUT THE 2 DO NOT LINE UP. THE CENTER OF THE ENGINE IS ABOUT 2 INCHES TO THE LEFT (or drivers side). SHOILD I GET IT AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE OR IS THIER SOMETHING WRONG. THANKS

Just bolt it up to all the stock mounting points and you are done. The engine is normally off-center a bit in the engine bay.
