engine flushing

OK this 79 I bought ,the 12a that is in it runs good and I am swapping this engine in to an 80 I have.
NOw when I drained out all the coolent it was a mess the rad fluid looked like it had never been changed. and the oil was also bad looking.
NOW when I get the engine back in to the 80 I would like to use that flush stuff in it WILL it be OK for the rotory engine.

thanks

sure it will be fine.. helpful hint....pull the drain bolt out of the block (follow the dipstick down to the bottom of the center housing....14mm plug) , put the hose in the radiator (on low) and idle the car(until the water gets clear).... that cleans all the heavy sediment out of the block that wouldnt " flush out" of the radiator..

Im gonna be flushing my radiator again soon too, and I got some of that Prestone flush liquid stuff, I was gonna try that. I also have the "Flush & Fill" nozzle kit thing in my car already, so I planned on using the flush fluid stuff, then backflushing it with the flush and fill kit, and usig the drain plug as well as the radiator cap to drain the backflushing crap to get it all out. Hopefully it will work really well as my radiator is nasty as I have EVER seen one. Note to self, use distilled water .
