Engine dies under load...
drivers side, you have to unplug the small vacuum line im pretty sure.
while the car is running press in on the lever with your finger, see if it dies, or if the lever is in then pull out.
i will try it on my car and let you know which way it has to go and which line ot unplug

Well, I said I couldn't find a fuel filter at my primary parts store. I went to my backup (which is going to become my primary) and they had it in stock.
I'm not sure it's completely fixed but I do know it needs tuned (adjustments to the carb.)

my rx-7 idles at 1k if not a little higher, the only reason you shouldn't idle a rotary engine a little higher than factory spec. is fuel consupmtion. it sounds like your carb needs tuned better, my honest opinion...it's just a good reason to get a bigger, better carb, i believe holley makes one for the 12a... you can find a few different makers by searching the net, or posing here..
