my engine isnt running ther best right now but before i go to the shop to see whats up im going to try a few things myself but my main question is can engine cleaner be used with the rotary engine??? i am thinkin about buying some and seeing if it might clean my engine out a little bit...thx for all imput

i use regular engine degreaser. I didnt see any damage.

 

buy the castrol engine degreaser. the best time to clean is while the engine is warming up.

Seal the dizzy with a plastic bag, spray the degreaser, start the car and let it warm up for a 5 minutes,
then use high water pressure.

Are you talking about external or internal cleaning?
BTW, dizzy=distributor
