Engine angle

I bought solid motor mounts and they are about .5" to 1" taller then my old motor mounts. Anyone think that difference will break something like a u joint or tranny bracket?

Should be okay - thats what a U-joint is for. Chances are your old mounts were just sagging and that .5" brought things back to spec.

1" seems unusual. I'd re-measure if you think it was that mouch.

The solid mounts are 2", I read through one of my searches on here they are suppose to be 1.75" tall. I haven't measured the old ones yet, but I know they were shorter.

Why solid? I can see urethane, but not solid.

They were within my budget. Now I have them, I really like the feel. More of a direct power feel.
