Hey, I'm looking for an emissions legal exhaust. I want the streetport system, but that won't pass, so I'm thinking I could get the normal system from racing beat, then put a cat where the stock connecting pipe goes. Would that work? We don't have to pass a smog test, just visual test, so it doesn't actually have to work lol. I just need to have a cat in there somewhere. Do you guys know of any cats that would fit in the connecting pipe? Would it hurt performance? oh yeah, one last thing, how much better is the streetport system vs. the regular system on stock ports? thanks.

why don't you get the streetport exhuast and take it off for the test? Exhuast is easy to swap with the stock exhuast. ...at least it is to me?

Just so ya know, mazdatrix does sell header and high flow cat combo's that will bolt to your stock connecting pipe. Your pretty just using a RB exaust with a high flow cat where the presilencer would be.
