Sport compact car

Has anyone seen the RX-3 in the new issue of Sport compact car? I have a 1985 12A. Can I strip all those vacuum lines on top of the motor? how? those lines all lead somewhere. Do I just plug and pull? I would like to build a street/strip terror. With such a bare bones engine, what would street driveability be like?

There should be a ton of this that is searchable on the board in older posts. But from what I've heard here is that while the emissions stuff is working, it does not effect performance. When something is not working right, then would could have a problem like backfires. Removal of the "rats nest" is described like, yank it all off, and plug up what ever holes you may find. Didn't someone post a pic of that car you speak of yesturday? To build a terror like that, you have to go into the engine. Removing the vaccum lines won't add performance, just simplifies things. Keep reading the other posts. there's too much to say for this open ended of a question. but you are in the right place for such an education. Gook luck buddy!
