what's goin on guys..im new here and im probably buying jeremy's 84 gsl-se and bringing it into canada...i understand that a car over 20 yrs old is exempt from the test, but i've heard if you are changing the ownership name (which i will obviously be doing) then you have to get the test regardless of the age of the car...im sure the car won't pass the test...anyone have any answers for me? thanks

Get non-runner tabs. Not sure how the law will be for over there but just tell them your car needs work and is not runing. Your landlord require you to have valit tabs in order to keep the car in the property. If you live in a apartment complex then get a note from your Landlord saying that she will tow your car away if you don't have valit tabs on it and plates.
