Electrical oddities
With electrical systems being the area of my car that I am most comfortable with (I say comfortable, not knowledgeable), it is what I tend to tinker with the most and attempt to work the bugs out of. So of you might remember my thread the other week from when I was cleaning my combo switch in an attempt to get my high beams working. Well they work now, but only with the headlight raise/lower switch is in the position that would keep the headlights in the up position if the beam selector was off. Do I have a wire crossed somewhere?
The other electrical mystery in my car is the antenna. The remote control for it is not hooked up to the radio and I can’t find what it is hooked up to or where the lead of it is. The only thing that seems to make the antenna go up or down is the lights turning on and off (seems to be the tail lights only, the fuse for the tail lights was out last week and the antenna just stayed up when the headlights turned on). Any tips as to where I could find the end of the antenna control?
