Congratulations, I had a feeling that it was from the alarm system. I have to agree with GSL-Addict, the most common electrical issues I find on cars tends to be from people who wire in alarms or stereos or what ever else they purchase incorrectly.

ok 1st thing's 1st i went to start my car ,when i turned key on, the light's on the dash came on like normal.
2nd i start to turn the car over to start it and all the light's shut off on the dash but it still was turning over.
3rd i happend to turn the headlight's on to see if they had power and they did,as i turned headlights on the light's on the dash came on,but i only had 8 volt's reading on my volt metter when i have allmost 13 most the time.
4th so car started with headlight's on, but i shut headlight's off and car dies
5th this might be a prob before all this started happening i would go to shut car off and it would not shut off, so i think it might be the ingnittion mabie

you know you want this
they do not have daytime runners. did you remove EVERYTHING from the alarm system? still sounds like a short leeching power, or need more grounds.(you can never have enough grounds!)

One other thing to mention in regards to the alarm system...
Make sure that when you removed your alarm components that you did not interrupt or leave modified circuits alone. For example, Alarm systems tend to cut off ignition, fuel, starter, ect so just removing it could leaving you with a no start condition because the circuit for those systems was not repaired after removal, perhaps a similar issue is occuring.
Second, if you have DRLs installed by this guy I would first check all the wiring in regards to the lights, start with the blinkers and headlights, cross reference the wiring against the FSM and inspect what looks out of place.

No problem, my mind is very fresh on wiring issues as I am still in the process of redoing my new engine harness to my chassis harness for my car. Hopefully I will have it done soon! I miss my baby!
But yeah, always glad to help out a fellow enthusiast!

Round and Round

The red/green wire from the combination (light) switch supplies power to the parking lights when the switch is turned on. Seems like some wire with switched 12v might be connected to that red/green wire somewhere. That wouldn't explain the headlight/ignition/battery problem.
There are two round black rubber-covered main relays. They are under the hood near the firewall on the driver's (left) side. Maybe the alarm was wired into the main relay that controls power to the coils. I believe that is the one nearest the left side of the car. You can see where my MSD switched power is connected to that relay in the picture.

allthou i can start my car turn on headlight's and turn the key off with headlight's on and it stay's running, then i turn headlight's off and car will shut off........

hey chris i was just thinking, when you were changing out the fuseable links to the second gen fuse block. i noticed that you have one alum...battery cable? see if thats your ground, if so i bet that cable is no good. alum. is very soft and breaks over time. if so i would change it to copper.
copper is a way better conductor.
.
just a thought...
