first post but i read a lot, great info!
i got my hands around a gsl-se, at auction, kind of a blind buy. it starts but if i turn anything electrical on it shuts the engine down. the air pump belt seems a bit loose. i am going today with tools and hope. any ideas? thanks up front.

Yeah, this place is great. A lot of helpful people, useful info, etc...

Okay back to your 7. Have you checked the battery? (low voltage, bad alternator, bad battery cables?) Do the tach arms move radically when the car is on?

I think these are some things you may want to check just to be sure.
